I have a master's degree in geophysics. To be more precise my master's thesis was about using different geophysical methods like gamma logging and magnetic susceptibility to correlate different rock layers in the Narva oil shale quarry.
Does it sound like chinese?
I know.
I have always wanted to bring super-duper interesting topics like geology to everyday people.
And that's why I ended up working in a natural history museum. Mainly, I have been experimenting and working with different visualisation methods, mostly VR and AR. But also I have been looking into AI and education long before ChatGPT was a thing. Under my watch, Natural History Museum was the first museum in Estonia to use the Design sprint method to reduce the preparation time for the exhibition from six months to five days.
After all these years of experimenting, succeeding, and sometimes failing I can finally say that I am a museum expert with diverse experience with different technologies and methods, with UX, UI and project management.
And I truly believe that if museums do things right then they can change the world. So, if you are interested in changing the world then just contact me.
